In general France people use discount codes but, not necessarily for grocery shopping (Fashion, cultural products technology). A lot of people already searched for coupons on the internet, the usage after searching remains unknown.
Most of the website offer a point system, where you collect points and after you reach a certain amount of points you can order a cashback. Usual to offer a dealer, and there you receive the cashback instead of giving cashback on specific products. In the most cases it is not exactly the collecting of points, rather than waiting until a certain amount to pay-off the customer.
